It’s curiously purple as the iron in the flour reacts with the gallic acid in the thin skins of the walnuts. This sourdough also has a sweet undertone from the addition of pure honey – honey that’s 100% made only by bees, goes straight from hive to bottle, and supports a small family-run farm in Antipolo. Yes to local!
